My last child on my Third Family was a Rainbow haired sweetheart was born of a father who was bald, and her Mom who was long dark straight hair with a fringe ( bangs I think People in America call them? ) She grew up to be a Toy collector. Upon adopting her back into the family because she was the only one who was remotely interested in having a family of her own, she married the love of her life - Tom. He had blond wavy- ish hair but not like the one in the pics above. tom also very much wanted a family of his own and together they simply couldn't wait. .... No luck! Then, completely out of the blue she refused to even entertain the idea of a family at all. Poor Tom did his very best to persuade her. He romanced her, coaxed her in ways that were special between them both.... but Barbara would not budge on the idea. After a few years, Tom decided to ask how she felt about adoption. Shrugging her shoulder's she told him that was fine... but HE would do the bringing up of them. She had become a career girl and was very ambitious. This was also a problem because she hated her job! She made a mistake and paid the price after someone reported her and all her hard work was for nothing. Demoted back a whole level her confidence fell and she also refused to work!
Not wanting to give in to depression, she spent her days polishing tools, removing make-up and lolling around in the garden Hammock. The closest she got to actual work was the occasional bout of washing.
Tom relished his posts as father and whilst he was an excellent and very hard worker it took his toll. He died aged 57.
I was left with a choice of two adoptee's.
Parsnip - a golden haired little girl, or Spud another baldie-bonce, but oh so cute!
I decided upon Spud. He has married Licorice and together they have three little rainbow haired girls. Radish, Carrots & Beetroot!.... so you see! you never know what's around the adopive corner lol. laugh
