Carla, Arthur's wife, is involved in choosing a lot of the names. She's Italian, and so many names are Italian. In addition, Arthur likes 'geeky' names, such as Linux - after all, they are little people who live in your computer. smile

Other names are, I think, just made up for fun.

For example, my person's name was once Jpeg! Like a .jpeg file! As Arnie said, they do live in the computer... wink

The way I see it, they have their own world and that's the norm there. They probably think you have an unusual name wink

Also, assuming you haven't had kids yet, get the weird naming out of your system now so that by the time you have your own children you can give them good strong names and not something that will hurt them when they look for employment! That's what I would do if I played from my laptop grin

Meet my lovlies: Alfa and Seven...Kids Bingory, Tolo, Stephone, Nobel asnd Gephi. Nobel and Gephi are my new twins...<3 which is shocking because I didnt get any kiddos the first few times I tried after Stephone. Not to mention Seven is entering 40's and Alfa is 40.
