My VV1 girl has red hair with a pink ribbon.I have a new XP modeom, and im using my old windows me monitor.I wonder if that has any thing to do with the color?I like the hair in VV3 with the decoratins they have.I dont play VV2 as much as VV1 and 2,because i dont like the gong and totems.

Howdy guys, just curious to know if anyone else has a time-out box in VVIII for the children. i drop a child up in the right hand corner where the palm leaves peek out over the water and drop the boy and he stays there, though he can eat and play in puddles (at least it says he is though the water just stirs around him....

Speaking of colors/monitors, just need to mention, as i have been a Mac user for over 15 years. Apple's 23" monitor has the best reproduction of true colors via seeing and printing. Just had to mention that. But also, all of you people out there with different color views of the same image... How many of you have actually taken the time to calibrate your computer's monitor? From my experience, most people plug and play/work, then expect us graphic designers to match what you see on your monitor... Not fun NOR funny guys!!

it seems no matter how many times i try to take half the health away and poson it, the lazy child survives... why is that?

That's done on purpose. The ability to kill off villagers on a whim is not considered desirable in a game intended for all ages. However many toxic potions he is given, they will not cause him to die, even if his health bar appears completely empty. A villager in such a position, though, would be highly vulnerable if he fell sick or injured himself working.

Luckily, children can't work, so cannot injure themselves, and so that route to infanticide is not an option.

Give the poor kid a chance! Why do you describe him as 'lazy'? Lots of my villagers have grown up to be fine members of society from unpromising beginnings.

emri,

I'd suggest a Google search on "monitor calibration" or similar.
