Please Help With Expanding Tribe??

Hi Everyone!

I love this game btw!! I am new to the forum and the game but I am hooked!
I am having a problem with expanding my tribe. My population is holding at 40. Food is at 215829. Tech points are at 1489704. I have collected all the collectables.I have reached all the milestones. The gong is in place and hasnt killed anyone, yet lol. I recently collected the last beetle and can increase my population by 10. But when I try it says there aren't enough huts and I don't have any new foundations to rebuild. I have builders fixing the existing huts but it says they are all in good repair. Any ideas??

The maximum population for the iPhone version of VV2 is 40 villagers. If twins or triplets are born when the population is near the maximum, you can get up to 42 villagers. The messages from the desktop versions mentioning a population bonus were inadvertently left in and will be removed in the next game update.

Oh ok that explains alot then. I can let my people relax once again LOL.If by chance I get a vote, a population increase for itouch with its larger capacity, I know the iphones have a smaller capacity, something to think about, if its possible. Thank you so much for responding so quickly. Yes I love the game. I also purchased the PC version. But honestly I prefer the itouch, seems more responsive to me. Thanks again!
