Best names of VV2

What are the coolest names you've seen so far that actually came from the game?

Whats the best tribal name you've come up with for one of your villagers?

My favorite so far, though I've only had 2 small tribes, is Hakea. I like the tribal sounding ones, not the plain ones like Chip lol. My original woman is called Sun too. Not very original, but still nice.

For some reason I like "Safari" as a girl's name. Note that I don't use a Mac so I don't think it has any connection with the Web browser; I just like it as a name!

Hokou and Etini

The first villager I had that was named Hoto also looked the part.

Safari and Etini are nice. I keep getting boring names that I end up changing. I got Puna or something, which would be cute if you changed it up a bit, but it isn't like that lol. Then I got Wan...boring lol. Now my woman has had 4 children! From 2 different men lol.

My favorite name from VV2 is Tiki.

For girls, I like Safari, Agate and Topaz and Aika, of course. In my first VV1 hard-tribe, I loose all the original villagers (it's the only time it happens to my tribes) and the last one, living alone and waiting for a barrel of kids (arrived steaks, bananas, but no kids!) during a long time, was Unagi. I always have a special thought for this name!!
For boys, I like Ayu (the oldest of the 1st VV2 tribe), Toki and Etini.
There is others, but I don't remember for now.

none of my Unagis looked very eel-like, but oddly enough, most of them were the short blue hair woman.

I tend to rename all my villagers, with vaguely Polynesian names, that have parts of both parents names. However, a couple of mine recently had a Hokua, whose name I left alone. My tribal name is Kanela, which is neither here nor there. However, there's been a Kanelo born to a couple of mine, about 13th generation. And lately, the names I've been getting have been slightly different from the norm. It set me wondering if VV2 is one of those games that learns as you play it...

Lol I like Obi, Wan, and Kenobi. I still haven't had triplets yet though, not even twins, and I have all the medical research. How common is it?

Not very commom at all. its just luck and the game generator that can give you twins and triplets. I once had twin runners named Koko and Kono

You seem to have a slightly better chance if the villager initiating the mating is very adept... esp if female.

For girls I liked Waiata (my first Esteemed Elder). For boys Momo (master parent who lived to be 79)

leiko is a cool tropical name

I also like the name Jade. That name actually was generated by the game, no changes from me! lol

Often I get gemstone or plant names, such as Hoya. I had a Ginseng as well. Gemstones have been Lapis, Jade, and Topaz. Also Coral, but technically that's an animal. I've had Mamba, which is a snake. The oddest name I've gotten was Qwara, who was a little girl.

The one that makes me giggle the most is "Mahalo"... I keep thinking "Where's his halo? I see no halo, he's no angel!" LOL

Mahalo means "Thank you" in Hawaiian. I've had that, and "Alohi" as well, which is VERY close to Aloha. I just got a Nidoro, which is unusual for me.

My son just got a Napuka! He thinks she was names after puke!! He has also had Popo and a Popoki, He thinks those boys are named for bathroom #2...

Ok for girls i like tuna tutu city and soda for boys i like obi wan and kenobi. my master parents had triples and thier triples were boys named obi wan and kenobi!

Wow, okay, this isn't my fave name, but it's definitely....um....interesting. I just got a child with the name Bixa.

It made me think of an episode of Seinfeld.

I like the names Nishi, Nani, Akika, and Kalea. (all girls names.) I also got a girl with the female version of the name Tatoo: Tatoa. Interesting.....

They certainly are...the Black Mamba is the world's most poisonous snake.

Some favorite names from VV2 are Bixa, Waiata, Jade, Kiki, and Kiri for girls. I don't really have any favorite boy names (at least none that I can remember right now).

I just had to name one of my little girls "Babes" cause that is what I used to call my daughter - and still do.

Mamba,Tipa,Ebi. Boy names are : Samar,Tutuni,and Tatoo

I always change the little girl called City. And isnt there a girl called Dada, or Papa? Doesn't quite fit. lol

I can tell you that if you wrote Lapis instead of Lápiz in front of a person that speaks Spanish, the person would know the difference!!

A native speaker would probably tell you the pronunciation was different, too. I remember learning German, having to learn to hear the differences between sounds that I just wasn't raised to differentiate between.

I always get a villager named Pita

and she fits her name quite well, cuz she NEVER WORKS!

forgot to add Jade, Lapis, and Sage. and Tatoa, of course. however, i dont like Aika and Tatoo. of course, i also dont like Chip. Aika and Chip are okay, but i always rename Tatoo. his name turns to Seven, another name that is okay.

I didn't actually read through all the names posted on here, but I'm sure if I did, any original name I liked would already be posted. But, I renamed all of my villagers to have names of characters from that TV show lost. Love that show.

My absolute favorite is Hakea;she was one of my first Villagers! *sigh* but she died one morning while I was away.*sob*

i like Hakea too, but it is'nt one of my real favs.

I change the name of villagers that dislike learning to Toi after some one I know at work that keeps getting moved from one department to another as she not do as she is told and refuses to lean the easy way.
