got the secret city and we're currently running out of food. The honey lasted a long time. But out only adept builder is an old man and he won't fix the machine (which I assume will get more food) alone.

they keep looking at the fishes, but I don't know how to teach them what a fishing pole is.... lol.

Did you plant the fruit that was on the ground at the beginning of the game? That is a very important food source for your villagers until you can solve the other food-related puzzles.

The second half of this post will help you understand how to manage the available food sources.

Yes, did plant that right away. With such a tiny crew and a long wait until one has so many points before reaching the critical stage where the lift can be fixed. But there are things about the second half of your post that I just don't get. Have the offical guide, and reading it. It'll make sense in time.
