I understand that VV3 is now up to ver .04
Since it takes me so dreadfully long to download stuff, I was wondering if it's possible to download ONLY the update instead of the whole game?
This would save me considerable time while fixing the problems I'm experiencing in ver .03.

Unfortunately, the update is the entire game. Unlike "core" games that frequently use patches to correct game flaws, our games are patched here in the studio and distributed as updated versions of the game with a new release number. It's necessary to do it that way because of the way that casual games are distributed to the various game portals.

I thought that might be the case, but wanted to check anyway. In that case, I will wait to see if this is going to be the "final" update. If there are still issues being resolved, I'll wait to redownload the "final" version.

Which version is it? I bought my game here on LDW.com on 5/29/2008. How many updates have there been? If we download an update, do we have to pay again? And if we download an update, what happens to our villagers? Will we have to start an all-new game?

I also have been wondering, like redrockwolf, if the game must be restarted. LadyCGIIs' answer leads me to believe it will, is this correct? Thanks for the explanation btw.

The current (as at the time of posting, at least) version is 1.00.04. If you downloaded the game on 29 May you should already have it. However, you can check by looking at the lower left of the Menu screen.

Updates are free to those who have already bought the game. If necessary simply install over the existing game. All your settings should be preserved, but you might wish to back up your files to be safe - see the FAQ for details.

There are no FAQs at all for VV3 with Macs. Where do you download the upgraded versions? There are very significant bugs on Mac OS X, Tiger version. It's doing some very nasty things to the Finder and other apps. I'd like to get the latest version to see if the worst of the bugs have been fixed.

Found the updated version, ran it, and the problems remain. This app is not ready for Macs. I'm going to pause the game and try again in a few weeks.

So where/how do you enter your registration code? Actually, WHERE is the registration code?

When I bought it from here, I received an email with a special link. It no longer works, and I can't figure out where to enter any kind of registration number. Now VV3 is showing me to be unregistered and automatically opens my browser to the buy me begging screen.

Highly frustrated at the moment.

Complexity, I think for the Mac versions the link that is in the VV3 section is not the good one. I have seen that you must send a PM to Arthur. \:\)
