When the new generation is started, the ages of the children and other factors are randomized smile That is why your youngest ended up being older than their siblings. smile

I had an event and both parents had already died and only their 15 year old son Bruner was alone and now he has a little adopted sister called Faby. Here is the pic of them already gone to bed.
I did not think that event would happen long after the parents both died to their kids. confused shocked

Sumatra and her 17-year-old twin sister Katia are depressed because their mother and father, Zebra and Marcu, have just died together. They both walked out onto the front door mat and Sumatra knocked on the screen and waved to me. cry

Unluckily, I was just too late to catch her waving when I took the screenshot.

An update on this family: I chose Sumatra to inherit and she's now happily married - to a runner! She now has two kids. Here's a shot of her with the latest kid, Lex. Note that hubby has already finished in the bedroom and is running off up the stairs as the baby appears. wink

Very nice family. I like the mods and changes of the house you made.

These discussions are fascinating and amazing! How the game develops is really intriguing. I guess I'll have to buy the desktop version for my old mac. Although the demo version runs in ver slow motion. Hopefully that is only because it's a demo.

BTW, when I do get the desktop version, where can I find Mac modifications, if there are any?

Thanks, happy gaming, everyone!

Hi Beeky.

If the game is running slowly it might be that your Mac doesn't meet the minimum requirements, which are: Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later
Intel or 500 MHz PowerPC G4.
32 MB of VRAM
256 MB of RAM (768 MB for iBook or G4 iMac)

All the mods in the VF Mods forum work on Windows or Mac machines, although I suggest you buy the game from the LDW site as some suppliers repackage the game and don't allow access to the images folder.

Thanks, Arnie,

My system is 10.4 and G4. So it should work...

I had 2 little visitor events after both parents had already died The first was when Paulone at the time was then age 15 and depressed adopted little Pod, and now Pod is 15 and he had a event a little visitor and adopted little Katella into the family. So it be a while before I start the next generation. I thought I was going to start it this weekend now I got to look after Katella as I don't want to push her out the house to start the next gen. crazy

Here is the pics of them

Hmm...I didn't know the adoption event would come up unless one of the parents was still living. At least they waited until the child residing alone in the home was old enough to care for the new little one (old enough to prepare meals, etc).
