Just wanted to introduce myself and say "Howdy!" (as the subject says grin ). I have had VF for about two weeks, if that, and didn't know there was a forum when I first started. Since I was having a couple of problems trying to figure out how to open the dang shed door, I thought I'd do an online search to see if there was any information about the game ~ and lo, and behold, WOW, here you all are! whistle

Well, not only have I figured out how to open "the dang shed door", but I have also downloaded and set up the house mods, pet mods, hair mods, thing mods ;-) and mod mods... Man! What a great selection and what talent we've got here! I want to thank all of you for your creations and enabling me to have a really cool-looking place, with all the trimmings! I love it! smile

I do have ONE question at this point, however, and I hope one of you can answer it for me: I have an entire house mod in place right now (the Colonial Bundle ~ it's fantastic ~ Thanks!), but was wondering if I can download and set up an individual mod for the kids' room without it affecting the rest of the house ~ or is that impossible unless you stick with the original house? I love the tropical bedroom and would love to be able to change JUST that...but I have a feeling it can't be done without affecting the rest of the colonial style in the other rooms.

I hope to design some of my own rooms one of these days, but for now, I'm really appreciative of those of you've who've already done it!

Well, sorry to be so long winded, and thanks in advance for your help. This sure seems like a very friendly forum, and I'm looking forward to getting know you all (well, as many as possible wink )!

Thanks also to our Moderator for all her most excellent tips!

OK...I'm done now blush

Nancy xoxo

First of all Hello, PhotoPhatty and I am also from Texas ! anyways to answer your question I am pretty sure that you cant just put a single mod in along with the bundle unless the mod doesnt affect the map piece you want to put it in. But, if you still want the mod you will have to get it merged with another mod.... Which I am pretty sure most people on here would be hay to do it for you wink I would but still havent been able to configure mods crazy lol hope this helps if you have any more questions just ask smile

That's what I pretty much figured from playing around with various room mods...you get a slice of one mod and a slice of another in one room...interesting, but not too great looking! wink

If anyone would be interested in doing that, I'd sure love to have that tropical bedroom along with the colonial bundle ~ but I also totally understand if that's just asking way too much, especially as a newbie on the forum! wink

Perhaps once I get more proficient at this, I can make an entire tropical house, since that's my most favorite style in the world...but I'm sure it's very difficult to get it just right, so it will be a long time until I try, I think!

Thanks, Joseph ~ and thanks again to all of you who have created these special mods for us all!

Nancy smile
