By jennac145 at 2009-10-30 I have just been goofing off this morning and wanted some input on colors etc. ideas. Candypanda mentioned Lavender so I thought I would try it.

Hi Jenna! I have to say I love the color of the carpet but I am not crazy about the area rug. The dark purple color is really cool but not the bold white shapes on it. I was thinking if the table has a pattern to it shouldn't the rug be a solid color? I do like the wall colors. How about long drapes by the window in the same dark purple color as the area rug? I realize you're not making the livingroom specifically for me but I thought I'd throw my opinion in anyway. I know the room will be beautiful however it turns out.

Hi hon! I didn't like the rug either. I was just having fun. I will x the rug. But maybe keep the dark color. I am horrible at making drapes. But I am going to work on it. I do want long drapes in there. I wanted your opinion. That is why I posted it!! I will just keep playing with it.

I agree with both of you about the rug, the coffee table is lovely, but the end tables should match!! I say end tableS because it would look great if there was another one at the end of the other couch. The left hand couch seems to be a little lighter in color than the other chairs, I like it!! How about a darker purple lampshade too. Great work Jenna!!

I lightened the one couch to see if anybody would notice. I don't really like the off white with the purples as much as I do the lighter couch. Especially when I put on the pillows that have some white in them. It would make the couches look "dirty" I think. Yes to the lamp shade. I am trying to see if I can find a pattern for it. Thanks you guys. And the coffee table I was kind of iffy on, but if you like it I will keep it in. Yes there will be something on the other end of the sofa. I don't know what it will be yet though!!!!!

I LOVE Lewanda's living room here but I think it would look better with a cream carpet. Is there any way you (or other modders) could do that for me?

Please PM me if you can do it. I love my house the way it is, but the carpet is just not "me".

I think a newer kind of tv would be cool. like a entertainment center with a big tv in it and big speakers on the sides.

LOL!!! Since when is a new tv a color? Do you know how long people have been trying to get rid of big ugly speakers? ROFL I looked up some entertainment centers and you are definitely talking to the wrong person!!! Maybe somebody who knows what they are doing could do it. For now I am struggling just to do my first living room.

Jenna, I just love the Lavender livingroom!! I downloaded it as soon as I saw it! I have also downloaded your blue livingroom as well! You've done wonderful work on both. Now, which one to use first?? Decisions, decisions!
