I am doing my first Living Room mod and wanted to find out what colors you guys would like to see! Nothing really stands out for me so I am going to ask all of you for some help deciding!! I would really appreciate it!!!

Well, I've always loved the color lavender. How about a livingroom done in that color? I know Lewanda has done a beautiful one in plum or burgandy, but I like lighter colors. Maybe the carpet could be plush like the one Lewanda did in her Salmon/Green bathroom. You could have long drapes by the windows in the same color as the carpet. As for the furniture, maybe a light blue or something - or what ever you think looks good. Also, pillows on the furniture and maybe some plants in the room if possible. What do you think?

I will definitely put Lavender on the list candypanda!! Thanks for the suggestions!! I hope that I get a lot of them!!! There will definitely be lots of pillows and extras when we decide on the color scheme. I love the little extras!

My wish would be for a catalog of all the mods! LOL I'm still getting used to the idea that some clever people here are able to fancy up the virutal homes.

A different kitchen table. I can't believe how many generations continue to go around the table the hard way, to unpack groceries.

There also seems to be no (easy?) way to celebrate holidays. Decorations are hard to manage in this type of game, I suspect.

I agree Beeky!! I have looked at that kitchen table more then once wishing we could put something different in there. But the problem is that the peeps are programmed to move in certain areas and if you block them they will be walking right "through" the table!! lol It would be nice if it was easier to do holiday themes. But when people start wanting the whole house done it turns out to be a lot of work. There are some really creative and talented people on here who do mods. I am just learning and aspire to get even close. That is why I asked for some suggestions on the living room. I need the practice!!!

Xay I have to say that I don't envy you on that one!! It is getting to be a major mess!! LOL It will be awesome when it is done!! Thanks for your hard work on that. It does make it a lot easier to find things.

I'd like to see some more blues in the living room, lots of plants and pillows, candles and even some extras, like a stereo or home theater system! I like the idea of the lavender living room and love the striped carpet in one of Jenna's screenshots!

I love that rug too. Lewanda did that for me to go with MissKathy's Bright Kid's Room. My whole house is Blue!! My fave color.

I don't envy you the indexing task for all the mods but I do have one request when it's finished.

Could it be "pinned" to the top of the mods forum like some of the other topics? I have to keep reminding myself to look for early October to find the current one....
