Just curious - I have 5 families - each about 13th to 16th generation - and I have yet to see a runner. Any tricks to this???

I don't think there is anything you can do to have a runner, except try encyclopedias, and even then there is no guarantee. They seem to be rarer in VF than in previous games

Thanks knk - That's what I figured - just hoping agains hope that here might be a "simple" solution.

I have been playing VV2 again and wish I could buy an encyclopedia for a chance at making a runner.

I finally got a runner in one of my families!!!

Congrats SQ! I actually have the opposite on one of my families.. a running disliker >_< I used the first desensitization kit I could get my hands on.

I have something that might help. My experince with the VF people tells me it is unlikey and rare to get a runner... however if a person's energy bar is filled up he or she will run fast.. hope this helps!

Same here! I noticed it when he was first born and, since the kit was in the store, I grabbed it and kept it in the tray until he reached two years old. He didn't dislike running for long.

I have noticed that some lil peeps seem to walk faster than others, regardless of their like and dislikes. I'm hesitant to call them "runners" but I have two "fast" females right now that I don't want to see get old! lol

Edit: Oh, the running dislike I had also. I actually treated him like he was ill. On the screenies and on the family tree notes, I call it being "cured" when I finally got the kit from the store. heh

If a peep has a nearly full energy bar they will run. That's what makes the energy drink a good way to get a peep running for a while.
