Technically it would be a Miniature Pinscher. It's a big jumble of when the Doberman and the Min Pin were introduced in the US. And some confusion with the AKC's description, I think.

That's right, Krystal. I've been doing some internet research and found where these dogs are called Pinny-Poo's and are in the designer breed category like the labradoodle. Fortunately, for us, Ginger has more of the poodle gene.

I was thinking there must've been more poodle in her.

I saw a dog that looked a lot like you dog today! And I've also seen a Min Pin before too, really cute.

I showed my Maltese Bella a picture and she barked at the doggie. Aaaw.

I know what you mean. Mine is still an active puppy too. But they do grow up soon, and they sure are worth all the effort, especially when they are so cute.
