From the moment I started the game, I've been seeing those butterflies. Now, with only 2 puzzles left to finish (I already have the GC) I can't find the butterflies. I know they come from the bush and I've been placing the GC on the bush for the last 3 days now. How long is this suppose to take?

If you're putting him on the berry bush, that's the wrong place.

You have completed the puzzle where you have to revive the flowers?


You do not put him on the berry bush. Revive the dead flowers, then the butterflies will come.

The only two puzzles I have left are The berry bush and the fruit plant ... I've already gotten the flower field.

Okay I am officially an idiot. I swear I read that you needed to place the GC on the berry bush. Well, after only 2 seconds of placing him on the flower patch (the right spot) I got the butterflies. Thank you all so much.

Don't feel bad about it; I made the same assumptions you did, at first.

Now all you have to do, is place the GC on the plant near the lagoon.

Hey, I've done much sillier things than that.

Yeah, just after getting the GC, he went right for the cave. And then I spent 3 days waiting for the butterflies, only to find it takes only 2 seconds to get them.

So, I'm done with the game now. Just letting it run now to see how long they go for.

VV1 is a fairly self-sufficient member of the series; I've had them go multiple months alone, without taking significant losses. (By which I mean, the population not declining; of course generations will live and die)
