Thanks. I'm not a huge fan of pink myself, but I think since it is a statue of a woman, it should be pink. And I'm not making other colors. You do NOT know how long it took me to make this. I had to make sure all the surrounding plants stayed green. And doing that took a LONG time

Thank you, Green is one of my favorite colors. Along with: Green, Turquoise, Red, White, and Brown.

Me personally, I think it looks more like copper or bronze, which many statues are made of. The Statue of Liberty is made of copper (except the flame on the torch, which is gold leaf).

Oh, its too hard for me to understand anyway, i like it. although it does look copper-ish. Nice though too bad my vv games are in my mom's computer.

Well, there already is green; red would look the same as pink; turquoise would look the same as blue.

I'll maybe do brown later if I can but it might be a bit ugly.

I love the pink statue.I hate green,but i dont dare try to change mine,i dont know enough about computers.I wish i could change it.I love it with the black.Black is my favorite color to mix other colors with.I love lilac with black.

A 'painted' statue might be nice; different colors on the skirt, hair color, skin-toned face, hands feet . . . ought to make an interesting project. I'll see what I can do with it . . . no guarantees. I'm lazy, after all.

I thought I read somewhere that the Sphinx was once different colors, but being out in the weather wore the color away. Hmmm...

And I just had an idea! I wonder if it would be possible to make the statue slightly transparent and kind of like a jewel... Hmmm. (again)

The Sphinx did originally have color. Blue and Yellow on the head-dress. You can still faintly see the colors. (I'm a big Egyptian history freak)

It would be kinda cool to see the statue colored with one of the actual outfits the villagers wear.

Transparency is possible, easily, but to get the statue to truly look like glass, or emerald, or whatever, you would need to do original work; surface texture and reflections and different on glass and anything transparent; if it had the surface texture of stone, the light would be so diffracted you couldn't see through it anyway. It's a much harder task than simple recoloring, where I could make a color-adjustment layer, then lasso-select a portion of the statue and cut that part of it out of the color adjustment mask. One mask for each color would complete it. The same would probably have to be done for the statue laying on the ground, as well.

In that way, I could easily recolor it even in multiple colors without worrying about overlap, and preserving LDAW's original design.

As soon as I read the wood 'Glass' I immediatly thought of Ice Sculptures. That could work if TunaPuzzler did the Ice Age for VV3 like she did VV2. (if you haven't seen it, you should check it out. It is amazing!)

I've seen the screenshots; but again, ice just reflects differently than rock; I don't know that I have the skill to make a statue of that quality without a source to work with.
