i already posted this in a thread , but, i wanted multiple opinions on it.
if you ask me, it looks like a cat and it plays with a mouse and pounces on it. but it also has a bone and a squeaky duck. in the lpp opening screen it looks halfway between the two.
is there an intended species? or just a generic "pet"??


oh, maybe that could be a future improvement, choose cat or dog... like "petz 4"... does anyone remember that game??

the first time I saw my pet it kinnad looks silly so I say its is neither a cat nor a dog... its a just digital pet

there have been lots of discussions on this... but the overall name we seemed to have come up with is "cog". cat and dog!

Is there a puppy version? I have a treo 650 and my pet is definitely a cat. I would love to find a puppy version if it's available.

There is only one version of Little Palm Pet, and the pets are designed to be somewhat generic. They're not really exactly like a dog or a cat, in appearance or behavior, but you do have some degree of control over the appearance of your pet at the beginning of the game. While you are in the Adoption Center (at the beginning of the game, or if you decide to give up the pet you have and adopt a new one) you have the ability to keep rejecting pets until you find one with an appearance that you like.

It would be nice if the game offered pets that were clearly puppies or kitties, but it's still fun to play.

and my pet, annise, who's been sick several times early in her life (poor thing) at least I've been able to give her/him medicine to help get well and has been fine, not sick since last time needed medicine and now pet is 32 years old ...:)

yeah it would be nice if they upgrade versions to let you choose the kind of pet (cat or dog) you want in the future ...

I LOVE THE OLD PETZ GAMES!the new ones kinda suck.... any way about the lpps i think its both but witha little bit of mouse in its geans but it does bark and is called a pup....

I like what LadyCFII said it was a Cog. A cat and a dog put together. In someways I think it is a dog in others a cat. Oh well I love to play it none-the-less.
