This topic is for those of us who have male-sounding screennames but who are, in reality, female and also for those of you who have been embarassed when you realized your mistake. Now you never have to worry about making a gender mistake again.

So to start off, I am not a guy...I am a gal.

Edit: If you have some funny moments where someone just realized that you were a gal, post them as well.

houjun, i was on a different forum , all women and a lot
of us just shortened our names. then when i came here
everyone thought i was a guy !
so for a while i had "TMAC is a girl" in my siggy.
now i have my new avi from AR with "tmac is a girl"

That's part of the reason why this is up here.

lucas and I were discussing in the Shout Box some of the funnier moments when someone realized....oh you're a girl.

So we decided to dedicate this to all of us who have faced some sort of gender confusion when talking to someone on the forums.

Oh, I remember the good old days when I thought tmac was a boy, keza was a girl, and Jazz was a college student

Well, I haven't faced gender confusion on this forum, owing to my fairly obvious username , but on MSN Groups I used to be known as Reader4066, which caused a bit of confusion. I eventually changed my user to ChloeWeasley (I was mostly in Harry Potter groups )

Also, my guinea pig Cinnamon is currently going through gender confusion. We're having trouble figuring if he's a gal or a male, but we still call him a boy

Since My Name is Girlish No I haven't faced this.

But Once I Thought AR Was A Guy! My Bad!

No issues figuring out that I'm a gal! LOL

Well I remember when in the shout box AR said "you'rt a GIRL' and I said yes I am a lady and then Rockmower said "Sir Lucas"

I also forgot to mention: I used to think laurence was a guy.
