LDW is proud to announce its first official game. With Easter right around the corner, we thought it would be fun to have an Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Bunny has hidden several eggs. It is your job to find them.

Eggs could be found in any post created in 2008 in the following forums:

• Off-Topic Discussions
• Contests
• Fan Art
• Fan Fiction
• Plant Tycoon Garden Exposition

This game will start immediately and will finish on March 24, 2008.

To keep this fair for all, we have a few, very simple rules.

• As you are going through the forum and you find an egg, record the post number that you found it in. The post number can be found at the top, right corner of that particular post.
  
  Keep this list to yourself. Do not share locations. After all, you want to be the winner, right?
• If you are not playing the game and you see an egg, please do not tell anybody where it is. No hints, no clues and especially no teams. This is meant to be played as an individual.

At the end of the game, everybody will submit ONE list via Private Message to "E. Bunny". Do not submit a Private Message everytime you find an egg. Only one list per player will be accepted, so wait until the end. Any Private Message marked with a date later than midnight, Pacific Daylight Time, of March 24, 2008 will not be considered. The person(s) who have the most eggs will be declared the winner(s) and will be announced Tuesday, April 1, 2008. Winners will receive the honorary title of Forum Games Elder and a special badge that you can proudly display.

So go out there, have fun, and find those eggs!

Hey, I'm losing to Lucas, 14/12, and I can't be on for 16.5 hours a day (school + sleep) so, it's NOT 24/7. And u can't win by just (snooping) you have to tear through thread after thread trying to find them.

i know i go threw every thing been threw it 3 times now but i dont stay on 24 my power has been going out for 1 week now cause they are upgradeing to hd so dont know how long it will be doing this so when i get a connections i am on looking for eggs lol

WEll, I found several more and in the meantime I have certainly read a lot more of posts and lots of FanFiction that I had never taken the time to read!! - Some excellent stories there all! Just be sure you don't put all your eggs in one basket - back up your list - It would be a shame to loose your list March 24th just before you were to e-mail the "bunny" with your results.

"any post created in 2008" means the post, not the thread. Another way to say it would be any post that was made in 2008, regardless of when the thread (topic) was created.

The 5 forums listed above are the only forums you will find eggs in. Each of those forums have numerous treads. Each of those threads has numerous posts.

So, under the 5 forums listed, you can go to any thread in those forums that have posts made in it during 2008 and you have the possiblility of finding one or more eggs there.

As Monday 24th is the last day then you can hunt for eggs all at once and still submit you findings!!!

It has come to our attention that E. Bunny has mistakenly hidden eggs in posts that were not made in 2008. It seems the best thing to do is to remove these eggs from play. This will make things less confusing and once again make it fair for everyone. We are sorry this has happened and greater care will be taken in the future to make sure eggs are hidden in the correct date range.

That particular post number was where the egg had been moved once it was discovered in the wrong area. It just seemed best to get rid of all mistakes including the relocated eggs.

The Easter egg hunt is coming to a close real soon. After a bit of discussion and deliberation, we feel the best thing to do about the eggs that were in the Off-Topic Forum is to not count them. We appologize for the inconvenience but this was the only way we could make it fair for all people.

We will still be hiding more eggs so keep a sharp eye out. They can pop up just about anytime.

To the Moderators did you mean midnight, as in the beginning of the 24th or did you mean midnight, as in the beginning of the 25th? To have our list in. cause didnt want to miss the dead line. Thanks alot for your help

The game ends at midnight tonight, Pacific Daylight Time. The rules for this game say that, "Any Private Message marked with a date later than midnight, Pacific Daylight Time, of March 24, 2008 will not be considered." If you want to know exactly what time your PM will be sent, click on My Stuff, My Preferences and scroll down. Near the bottom, right above "Hide from Who's Online?" you will find a line that says, "Current server time is:" followed by the exact server time. It's that time that will be stamped on your PM.

Can you tell us if anymore eggs will be hidden today?

That stinks, it doesn't take that long to calculate the winner. Can't they announce it sooner?

Patience... they may announce it sooner but it depends on a lot of factors...

First, I'm sure that they have to double-check all of the post numbers (including double-checking that there were no other mistakes on the part of the Easter Bunny), secondly, we don't know exactly how many forumers participated in the egg hunt so there could be quite a few PMs for E. Bunny to browse through and finally, we must keep in mind that both moderators and all three of the admins have lives outside of the forums...
